At the Hour of Our Death is a striking series that documents and bears witness to the physical evidence that remains after the passing of a human life. Spencer Murphy – Summit Against Violent Extremism
This past June, Google Ideas, in association with the Council on Foreign Relations and Tribeca Film Festival, hosted the Summit Against Violent Extremism in Dublin, Ireland. The aim of this summit was to unearth the roots of radicalization and to generate new and innovative ways to address the threat it poses. Spencer Murphy, a 2006 Flash Forward winner, was commissioned to take portraits of those participating in the summit discussions. Those participating consisted of a network of 50 former Religious Extremists, Political Extremists and Gang Members as well as Survivors and Experts…..
